For Teens
Regardless of age, at Confidential Treatment Options you are treated as an independent person with your own set of realities and circumstances. We always treat you with the utmost respect. You are always encouraged to share your side of the story and your opinions, and you are always heard. You are encouraged to speak what is on your mind.
We suggest that your parent(s) be involved on some level if you choose. Parent coaching is offered and this is also confidential. Parent coaching is offered and this is also confidential.
If you are in trouble with the law, you may want to choose Confidential Treatment Options for your assessment and treatment. You will experience one on one experience where you have input over your therapy/treatment versus being told what to do and how to do it.
Confidential Treatment Options was built on the philosophy that everyone, regardless of age, deserves access to the best professionals available. We offer a discreet, personally tailored program that will guide you through this frustrating and frightening time.
We do not believe in labeling adolescents with a life-long stigma. There are young adults who are alcoholics or drug addicts, but most teens are abusing or experimenting.
It's hard enough to be an adolescent without having to spend time in therapy with a novice counselor, or with a therapist who is punitive instead of therapeutic. We support you with a private psychotherapist with fifteen years experience with adolescents.
Depending on your age your parent may need to sign consents and agency paperwork for you.
For Parents
This is undoubtedly one of the most frightening and confusing times you have had as a parent. Whether this is the first time you have dealt with these issues or they have been ongoing, you have made the right choice to seek professional help.
I am a 15-year veteran psychotherapist and addictions specialist. I was specially trained in adolescent behavior and I continue to see this as a specialty and a passion.
I am the owner of Confidential Treatment Options. I built this agency and psychotherapy practice on the belief that our community is not adept at dealing with all of the special issues that confront adolescents. I am determined to offer something that most agencies don’t spend time on.
I have always treated the adolescents that enter my program with respect and dignity. This is something that they are yearning for yet are unable to achieve due to all of the angry and negative behaviors that they display.
I have found that if you allow a troubled teen to be part of the decision-making process that he or she feels less cornered and therefore acts out less. Many parents are afraid of this option if their teen has not shown that he or she is capable of making healthy decisions. This is where the parent learns to trust the technique, which is not an easy undertaking.
If I did not have the experience, education, and notable success rate that I offer, I would not advocate my system.
You are encouraged to follow the links on the Resource page. We offer parent coaching and you are welcome to come, if you child will sign a release.
"I have always considered adolescents to be special people. I know as a parent myself that the problems that arise in your child's life are overwhelming and you may feel helpless. I am honored you have chosen to look at my agency."
